We are looking to expand our team with new members that are all about writing code. As a Backend Developer in a team of multiple technologies, you will be implementing features across our platforms and making offices as smart as the people in them.
Meetio set a new standard for meeting room management with the introduction of the Room-tablet in 2014. We today offer industry leading software solutions for hot desking, mobile scheduling, wayfinding, and room management. Always with focus on simplicity, ease-of-use, and efficiency. Responsibilities:
Implement cloud native applications and API's that extend over time
Code in our backend web service in either Kotlin, PHP, and/or NodeJS with Typescript, run on AWS
Teamwork with 20 fantastic people within various disciplines, self-organized in dynamic teams, and grow as a team
Collaborate not only with your fellow team members but also with other people in the organization, like other dev and engineering teams, Product Management, QA, customer services, design teams, and more
Create new features for the workplace of the future
Debug quirks, monitor trends, and troubleshoot incidents
Dig deep into complex problems, to understand them, explain them, and solve them
Challenge our architecture, propose changes, and ultimately implement and own them.
Mandatory Skills Description:
- 5+ years of back-end web development experience in Java, Kotlin, or TypeScript
- Strong Experience of one of either Spring Boot, Laravel or Symfony, or NodeJS with Express.js
- Experience of leveraging cloud infrastructure platforms, such as AWS, for cloud native, serverless development.
- Experience of both relational and document databases, especially SQL
- Experience of being actively involved in the entire lifecycle from planning and developing, to release and maintenance.
- At least B2 English
Nice-to-Have Skills Description:
- Web Security
- Authorization and access implementation, like OAuth 2.0
- Identity management, and SSO integrations
- CI/CD processes with tools like Jenkins, Terraform, Gradle.
