About the job
You will be part of our multinational Agile product development team consisting of frontend and backend developers, UX/UI designer, Scrum master, the CTO and you.


Your main responsibility will be to improve the code base and work on updates and bug fixes. Your work will be focused on backend development with TypeScript in the cloud functions (GCS).


You will work closely with the team to help define our next steps, planning and release processes, and definitions of done. As a developer, we expect you to take shared ownership and responsibility of guiding the team in the development process to solve the right problems in the right way. Sometimes you might be the only expert in your field, and that’s why you need to be comfortable sharing your knowledge with the team.

JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, React, React Native, Firebase/Firestore, Google Cloud Platform, Android, CI/CD, ApiGee, RESTful services, SendGrid, Data Studio, bigQuery




Key areas of responsibility:
Improve the code base and work on updates and bug fixes
Contribute to the definition and implementation of the next version of out backend
Daily collaboration and knowledge sharing with the team



Skills and experience


API-development using Firebase (or another live database)
Google Cloud functions for Firebase/FireStore
Supporting mobile and web apps using Firebase (or another live database)
Implementing, launching and maintaining public APIs for a new service, experience with a customer-facing API management platform is a bonus.
Demonstrated knowledge of mobile security (this is a bonus)



The place of work is the company’s headquarters in Stockholm. At the moment we mostly work from home.
