Part of Zettle's Seller Lifecycle Alliance, our Identity Area develops and sharpens the foundation on which all our product integrations end up standing on.
By joining Business Identity, your mission will essentially consist in creating and owning smooth integrations between business applications used across Zettle's ecosystem. In this spirit, you will notably be co-responsible for the business data of all our merchants throughout their lifecycle.
Simply stated, we see this role as a rare opportunity to actively contribute to all aspects of the backend while getting involved in all facets of the software engineering including the infrastructure, data, deployment, monitoring, architecture, code reviews, and more. The skills to succeed
To feel fulfilled and thrive in this role, we think that you could benefit from having a experience with:
Java 8+ with frameworks as Dropwizard or Spring Boot.
API Integrations.
Building distributed systems with REST.
Working with continuously delivered systems.
SQL and data modelling with PostgreSQL.
Cloud development with Docker, Kubernetes preferably in AWS.
Pair/Mob programming.
The traits to exceed
A passion for closely working with product & design as well as for solving complex challenges in small, agile and cross-functional teams.
A proven ability to collaborate and interact with various people within the business functions and other engineering teams.
A natural drive for sharing your knowledge, experience and opinions while respecting the necessity to make decisions as a team.
A constant desire to learn combined with an endless appetite for exploring new things.

Microservice architecture
System for Cross-domain Identity Management (SCIM)
Automated testing
GraphQL
Cassandra or other NoSQL databases
React or similar Javascript frameworks
