Backend Developer, Greenely!

Greenely is an award-winning start-up/scale-up company on a mission to create the best customer experience for the modern energy consumer using technology. We are a digital energy provider that helps people reduce their electricity costs by optimizing their home and car's electricity usage with smart technology in an app. We are growing rapidly and therefore looking for more backend developers to join our friendly team!

Your challenge

As a backend developer, you will actively participate in developing Greenely's service. Your daily work will include:

- Running technical discoveries for new technologies.

- Work with the rest of the team to develop and write specifications for new ideas.

- Develop new functionality built with Python.

- Staying up-to-date with new technologies.

- Building APIs to be consumed by the Greenely mobile app.

We are applying a hybrid workplace solution, where you can work from home up to 3 days a week. Our office is located at the heart of Stockholm on Vasagatan 40, central station.

Required skills

We appreciate close collaboration and projects can vary quite a lot. Therefore, we place a strong emphasis on your personal qualities. We believe you are flexible as a person, easy to communicate with, responsible, and can explain technical aspects in an educational way to people who are not involved. Furthermore, you have a strong will to create value for the end user. Experience-wise, we believe you have:

- Min. 5 years of experience in backend development in Python

- Experience working with REST APIs

- Experience with Django

- Experience in PostgreSQL

- Knowledge in GIT

- Effective communication skills

- Fluency in English

Bonus skills

- Falcon framework experience

- Knowledge in time-series-data

- Experience working with Docker

- Experience working with IoT-related technologies
