Who we are
Instabox is a tech/logistics scaleup that wants to change the logistics industry. We think it should be easy to shop online and offer our customers a fast and smooth shipping service - all in order to make everyday life easier. We want our customers to be able to shop from any of our 50 e-commerce partners and pick up their products in one of our smart boxes - all in the same day.

Does this sound too good to be true? Might sound so, but it is all possible by the fact that we are developing our own software. However, as we continue to grow so does our need for skilled and dedicated leadership in our engineering department, that’s where you come in...

What you will be doing
In order to deliver an excellent consumer experience, we are looking for a senior engineer with a team lead experience. As we build everything in-house, you will be part of projects involving everything from sorting machines, route planning tools, API:s and much, much more! As our tech department literally enables everything that we do you can expect to play a role in improving the current products as well as greenfield projects that will create new business areas.



As Team Lead we will be looking to you to enable personal growth within your team, establishing and promoting best practices and fostering a collaborative and effective team environment. However you can’t be afraid to put your hands on a keyboard and code yourself - at Instabox we lead by example. Let us be clear, we are looking for a team lead that also wants to code.

And then the technical stuff: Our stack is mostly NodeJS, MongoDB and Postgres, but we hate to limit ourselves and do not hesitate to try new tech when necessary. For example, we also use Golang, Python, Redis and Kafka when the need arises.

Who you are
It goes without saying that you love to code and are passionate about building efficient systems. In order to be successful in this role we suspect that you will have at least two years of experience in a leadership role and have been coding for even longer, ideally in Node JS. You have a holistic view on and around software, allowing you to understand the connection between hardware, physical processes and the software you build.
