We are now looking for a backend developer to our team who is setting the stage and building our Remote vehicle controlling functions, where our drivers remotely can control and access vehicle functions. What we do
We are responsible for building remote vehicle controlling functions which gives access and control of vehicle functions from our Scania Driver mobile App. Examples here are Climate control functions, BEV charging functions such as departure scheduling, remote start/stop of public charging, etc.

What you can expect

• Your primary focus will be on supporting our development team by building backend capabilities such as API’s and integrations with specific vehicle control unit enabling the remote vehicle controlling function and testing from an end 2 end perspective, often in a truck itself.
• You will be part of a DevOps team  that design, develop and maintain the different applications and features, always in a close collaboration with our UX and Front-end developers to always understand and fulfil our user needs.
• The technologies and tools we mainly work with are AWS service such as CloudFront, API Gateway, Lambda functions and  DynamoDB. The development is mainly done in .NET, C#. We write infrastructure as code, using AWS CloudFormation and Gitlab as DevOps tools.
• Lastly, following technical trends and raising innovative new features will also be part of your daily work.
