• Backend development where you design, develop, and evolve our products using Python, Django, GCP, Node.js and Cloud SQL, combined with Next.js/React and Vercel frontend.
• Test and implement new technologies to secure functionality and efficiency of our products

THE TEAM AND WORK PLACE

You will be part of a team of 5 highly skilled and friendly coworkers. You will report to Development Manager Jimmy Lindh who looks forward to welcoming you. The team works in collaboration with each other and with the rest of the business as well as external consultants. The culture is welcoming and open. We like to try new things and don´t hesitate to share our knowledge and experiences with each other.

We will guarantee and make sure that the job as a Backend Developer at TR Media will be fun! While our products are connected to trotting and horse racing, there are no expectations for you to like neither trotting – nor sports – for that matter. We organize many social activities, such as annual trips abroad during pandemic-free times. We reside in a brand-new office by Bromma Blocks, but we also offer the opportunity to for full-time remote.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for an experienced Backend Software Engineer who enjoys working with Python. If you have experience of Django as a framework, that´s considered a plus. Since your focus will lie on backend development, it is important that you enjoy it. We have chosen Google Cloud and are looking for you with experience with that or any of the other major cloud platforms

Since you will be part of a smaller team that works closely together, you need to have excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a team. You have very good knowledge of English in speech and writing. Swedish is not a requirement, but it is good if you master the basic level and/or have the ambition to learn.
To be considered for this position you need a Swedish work permit.
