Backend Engineer

Your work will include and is not limited to
Work together with the rest of the product organisation to define features
Collaborate close with the design and UX team to secure the best possible customer experience
Be responsible for the backend architecture and interface with related systems
Contribute to the strategy for Cakes digital experience and be an integral part of the process of building an industry leading team to support Cakes mission
Report and communicate progress outside project team as needed
Contribute to and manage roadmap for Cakes digital experience
Define features and contribute to business development within the digital landscape

About you
You have worked at least 5 years in a professional software development environment, or in a similar role at a product development organisation
You have an engineering degree
You have experience with the AWS cloud platform
You are proficient with Git & DevOps
If you have experience from the EV/Vehicle industry and understanding of the technology it would be beneficial, but most importantly you have a deep understanding of cloud platforms, back-end technology, databases and apply an agile and structured way of working

are comfortable managing multiple tasks in parallel, interfacing both internal and external stakeholders
are a structured and goal oriented individual, and a self-starter who takes initiatives and ownership
have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
