In Brief
We are looking for backend software engineers to join Nordnet's Engineering department. We are currently organized in 4 domains – Foundation, Discover, Execution and Platform, defined in line with the services we provide for our customers. The domains are setup with a number of agile cross-functional teams in each that can take an idea, independently from inception to product launch. During 2020 we will begin migrating our backend services to a new cloud platform with the ambition of being one of the few banks with cloud-based services in a highly regulated industry. We are recruiting broadly and will need experienced backend software engineers for a number of teams going forward.

Nordnet’s Engineering department is a flat organization with a true passion and interest in working with all parts of agile development focusing on writing, reading and chatting about code. Regardless of which team, you will be working in an autonomous group of experienced colleagues that loves to engage in knowledge sharing.
Innovation and keeping up with the latest technologies are a part of Nordnet’s DNA. We work in a microservices based architecture with highly available and scalable backend applications and advanced CD and data pipelines using proven technologies like Java, Kotlin, Spring boot, Kafka, Docker and Kubernetes. We work with continuous and daily deliveries.

You are passionate about software development and you want to contribute to creating an awesome customer experience with your skills and expertise. In your work, you are organized, methodical and professional in a way that benefits the team's working climate and ability to deliver high quality solutions. It's a plus if you have experience and interest in fullstack development.
