About Us:
The Retail Excellence Cluster is part of the Commercial Digital area, which creates digital solutions that power Volvo Cars globally. This role is situated within Retail Excellence’s Retail DMS organization, which focuses on delivering the best possible experience for our retailers in Sweden, Norway, and Japan.
We are looking for someone to help us create world-class tools for our retailers, impacting all Volvo customers and many others in the region. Join us during this exciting time and help set the tone for the next chapter in our company’s history!
What You’ll Do:
* Contribute to the development, testing, maintenance, and integration of applications/systems.
* Participate in ideation and brainstorming sessions to devise creative and disruptive digital solutions.
* Build apps, APIs, and data solutions to bring these ideas to life.
* Utilize design patterns and modern frameworks to build, maintain, and implement solutions.
* Occasionally take on multiple roles, such as individual contributor, lead, teacher, or mentor.
* Evaluate technical options, considering performance trade-offs and benefits.
Who You Are:
Years of experience is important, but we are focusing on a person that likes to solve challenges with technology. Therefore, having a person that can understand problems from a business point of view, implement and execute is far more important.
Example of tech stack is:
* C#, JavaScript, GraphQL, TypeScript
* Event-based systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar)
* REST API Design and Implementation
* Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
* Docker, Kubernetes experience
* Experience with any CSPs (Azure/AWS/GCP)
