Avinode is looking for Back-end Developers to join the team in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Avinode is a marketplace to buy and sell charter online. Every year, Avinode processes around 4.5 million trip searches and 6 million trip requests.

Avinode was created back in 2002 to answer a straightforward problem: operators had empty planes and brokers had clients that wanted to fly. And yet there was no real-time online marketplace where these two groups could explore and buy eachother’s services. Avinode revolutionized the industry by bringing it online.

We are also at the technological forefront of the shift to the online booking of private air charter. The web apps and APIs implemented by our customers see around 2 million searches per year and growing.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
The work is in small teams on the full-stack of their software curating the structure of server side information and writing server scripts and API’s to be utilized by front side engineers and UX designer.
The day to day consist of optimizing servers for speed and stability, implementing security structures, generating reusable code libraries and generating data storage solutions.
Leverage best practices in continuous integration and delivery. We ship code daily to our customers.

VI SÖKER DIG SOM
* A professional software developer with experience in back end coding in Java and
some understanding of JavaScript.
* You have experience with source control and bug tracking software (we use Git and Jira).
* You are familiar with building automated tests and performance/stability monitoring.
* You communicate well in English, both verbally and in writing.
* You like working in an agile environment in cross functional teams where you actively share knowledge through pair programming and mob programming sessions.
