Backorder handler to Modis!

We at Modis are looking for a Backorder Handler with data analytics skills for an exciting and challenging role at a world leading, international customer.

About the role

In this role you are accountable for quickly solving urgent backorders. You are a key person with many different contact areas including suppliers, production, warehouses, materials planning and more to provide reliable information and handling customer expectations on time.

Besides that, you are expected to find creative improvements and driving the implementation of them. You will be part of an exciting journey to introduce new technologies to improve performance of the team.

Your main focus will be

• Quick solving of urgent backorders
• Proactively keep customer informed and follow up on Estimated Time of Arrival to central distribution center
• Act with customer in mind and be dedicated to meet internal and external customer expectations
• Use the broad internal and external network to support world class backorder recovery
• Use new technologies to improve performance
• Represent Backorder Recovery team in different development projects
• Drive activities to develop the supply chain connected to backordered parts
• Drive continuous improvements within the function

About you

If you are a problem solver with data analytics skills, you will fit perfectly for this role.

We believe that you have a university degree, preferably within logistics, excellent communication skills and are used to work in a high tempo. It is a plus if you have experience from the automotive industry.

We put strong emphasis on personal qualities and we believe that you can be described as a team player with great sense of urgency, relation builder and service minded.

Experience and/or interest in Python, Power BI, Qlik, Macros and RPA (Robotic Process Automation) is a strong plus.

Fluency in English, written and oral, is a requirement and Swedish is beneficial.
