BackUp Admin

We are looking for a BackUp Admin with below expertise:
· Day to day operational support of backup environments: EMC Networker, EMC Data Domain, EMC DPA, EMC Power protect – Dell is the brand!
· Monitor ticket queue and email to identify and resolve production issues –
· Monitor disk and tape backup environment to make sure backups complete successfully
· Manage configuration of disk backup, including labeling and pool management, schedule management -
· Take ownership of issues to see them through to resolution, even if the resolution is provided by an external team or vendor
· Scheduling/execution of planned infrastructure changes and events
· Provide client support related to backups via email and phone, escalating as necessary
· Work with global team, taking and providing warm handover to ensure continuity of issue resolution -
· Work with platform vendors to pursue issue resolution
· Potential cross training with other platforms: Unix, Windows, Database *Exchange, Oracle, MySQL
