We are looking for a person to replace one of our event head waiters during her maternity leave period.
The duration of the position is between 1st May 2019 and 30th April 2020 with the possibility of an extension depending on performance.

The job will be based in our event space Social which is a 2000 sqm flexible space where we host daily all kinds of events from day conferences, to cocktail mingles, seat-down dinners, fairs and concerts.

Work responsibilities
As head waiter/waitress you are responsible for managing the operation on a daily basis and assure the team is delivering exceptional high end guest service experiences. The role includes building a strong relationship with other departments to ensure a flawless guest experience for all our guests from beginning to end, you function as the main liaison between our guests, waiters and kitchen brigade. Your role requires you to ensure staff are working together as a team to ensure extraordinary service delivery.
You will do the schedules, control costs and develop your team through training and coaching.
Background and personal characteristics
You are an organized team player who thrives to motivate and inspire your team to meet all guests with a fantastic welcome and deliver exceptional service. In addition,
• You have 2 years experience working in a similar environment supervising event operations
• Ambitious and interested in working in a high-pace environment with great standards
• Out-going personality who has an easy way communicating with guests. Ability to charm and up-sell to guests.
• Structure and good organizational skills
• Ability to work unsupervised and high professional ethics
• Service is your passion and you have a genuine love for food and beverage
• Dynamic attitude with a creative and go-getter mindset
• Able to communicate verbally in Swedish and English, additional languages is a plus
Working hours will vary between day and evening and you will be required to work alternate weekends.
