We are building a state-of-the-art Gigafactory that will be one of the largest cell production facilities in Europe and construction is set to begin in 2023. To make that happen we need the best to join our in-house Engineering, Procurement & Construction Management (EPCM) team. About the job
You will serve a key role in the governance regarding the care and protection of our employees by securing that work environment risks are managed during the planning and design phase (Bas-P). The role is a part of the HSE construction organization.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Identify and address work environment risks during the planning and design phase.
- Coordinate the Bas-P organization and ensure input and risk analysis from design managers and design consultants.
- Make sure that safety measures are proposed for risks which cannot be eliminated during the planning and design phase.
- Implement and update Work Environment Plan.
- Identifying gaps when present and ensuring that action plans is both developed and executed on time.
- Support during the installation phase in terms of ensuring design requirements for safety, and follow up on risks related to design changes
- Other tasks within risk- and safety management and health and safety during periods when BAS P tasks don’t cover 100 %.
Skills & Requirements
You genuinely care for people and find it easy to influence others through indirect leadership. You can be a bit nerdy in finding a good structure and creating rules and systems. At the same time you are creative and flexible, allowing you to figure out how to solve problems in the least burdensome, expedient manner.
We believe that you have:
- University (or advanced) degree in risk management, safety engineering or other relevant field
- 5+ years working experience as Bas-P in Sweden and good working knowledge of Swedish health and safety legislation (Arbetsmiljöverkets föreskrifter).
- 2+ years of working experience is in manufacturing, chemical, or construction industry focusing on risk managements in projects and/or design.
- Very good ability to communicate and collaborate.
- Excellent English written and oral skills.
- Working business-level reading, writing, and speaking proficiency in Swedish.
- Bas-P education.
