On behalf of our world leading automotive client we are now looking for a Mechanical Engineer within fluid management (Base Engine) for their increasing consultancy. The mission will start in the middle of March or after agreement where the right consultant will be extended or hired after 9 months. Arbetsuppgifter

Work description:
Component responsible position within Fluid management at Base Engine at our Client. The team consists of 15 engineers working with cooling-, oil- and CCV-systems. In cooperation with team and suppliers develop system and components for the heavy duty platform. The position has emphases on coolant pumps and thermostats. Work will be driven by project request and quality/cost improvement. This coming spring a large engine project will be launched that will require a large level of creative engineering to support the project request on components performance.

Utbildning/erfarenhet

Requirements:
Requires independent work with high level of taking initiatives. Job is broad and can consist of leading technical investigations, as well as specific drawing updates, packaging studies and extensive supplier contacts globally. A design background and ability to work in Creo is highly regarded.

Additional requirements:
Solid experience from product development including basic knowledge of production and industrialization processes. Solid experience from design work from concepts to drawing release. Good knowledge in ProE and CreoView is a plus, as well as independently doing drawings and performing mechanical design work. Experience of Volvo development process and PCR is positive. Mindset of personal accountability and strong drive for results with personal creativity and problem solver.

Office package, Creo/CreoView, PDMLink, PCR, Protus, PROTOM, etc.
