Base Material Engineer - Quality & Data Management -Temporary position-LUN0000SU
Description
Base Materials within Supply Chain Operations are striving to continuously adapt and improve our base material supply base in corporation with our suppliers, converting factories and package platforms.
As a Base Material Engineer within the Quality & Environment team within Base Materials, you will be working in a small specialist team and be responsible to work with our Management systems and our Quality Pillar in our WCM work.
In this role you will also work with all current databases used within Base Materials covering supplier performance measurements, claims and base material volumes. You will work independently, providing support to the organisation covering all the base material categories.
This is a temporary role for 18 months, starting April 2015.
Main responsibilities
- Manage Our management systems ( ISO 9001 and ISO 22000)
- Coordinate and manage all audits & assessments on BaseMat
- Super User for QuTI-P and Business Objects, part of the IR analyst network
- Lead the QM Pillar
- Back-up in claim database handling
- Support in certificate register and Legal & Health data management
- Manage data and system for Supplier Performance measurements
Qualifications
We are looking for a self-motivated, organised person with a high drive. You have a thorough and systematic way of working and are quality oriented. Furthermore, you have great networking skills and the ability and motivation to share your knowledge with others.
To be successful in this role, you must have previous experience from Quality work and WCM management. You also need knowledge of database handling, Office programs, engineering and preferably some base material knowledge. We believe that you have a Master of Science in Chemical, Mechanical or Computer Science Engineering. A very good command of English, both written and oral is required.
