As a mechanic at Patria Helicopters, you will be joining a team of fellow passionate mechanics at a workplace that values teamwork and professional development and work closely with a team of technicians to ensure the delivery of high quality service.
Your Responsibilities
• Perform maintenance tasks on aircraft, components, and related equipment (removal/installation, inspection, repair, modification, testing, troubleshooting)
• Read and interpret maintenance manuals (in English), service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
• Estimate hours and lead-time, raise material requests, and define special tools needed for correcting.
• Support cost estimations by estimating manhours, material, and tool requirements.
• Carry out weekly Task Observations/Quality Checks.
The Bigger Picture
You will join an existing team of six mechanics and report to the Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Supervisor. You will be based at Patria Helicopters´ office at Arlanda, Stockholm where complimentary parking is available and public transport is a 20min walk away. Working hours are 07:00-16:05 (Monday - Thurday) and 07:00-13:30 (Friday) with flextime benefits. Staff are employed under a collective agreement and the company also offers employees a Health & Wellness allowance, and a work mobile. They even have a staff garage for those who enjoy tinkering on their car in their free time.
Our Expectations
As an indivdual you pay strong attention to detail and strive after quality. You enjoy solving problems of a technical nature and enjoy working both independently, as well as part of a team. You are also comfortable following company routines and policies. To be successful in this role we also expect you to have:
• An EASA Part-66 basic license or equivalent from a Part-147 Aviation School. (Category A Mechanic)
• Good knowledge of mechanic´s tools and practices
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and geometric tolerances
• At least 6 months experience of Maintenance, Repair, Operations (MRO)
• Fluency of technical English language (written & oral). Patria´s company language is English, Swedish is not a requirement for this position.
