Aurobay is looking for a Base Tech Architect. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with new powertrain control development and Electric Distribution Systems. You will work as part of a top-performance in-house team with highly skilled people, to create world-class powertrain solutions. We will increase the scope of the Aurobay ECU´s from hybrid engine control to cover fully electric powertrains with functions such as Electrical drive units, inverters, and transmissions.

Skills and Experience

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven experience and excellent references as a Software Architect with a focus on designing foundational software architectures.

- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, design patterns, and relevant technologies.

- Excellent communication in both Swedish and English for collaboration.

- Collaborative team player ready to integrate engineering with project management.

Your role at Aurobay

As a Base Tech Architect you will:

As a Base Tech Architect, you will be responsible for designing the foundational technology architecture of our software systems, providing technical leadership, and ensuring that our technology solutions align with business objectives. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced architect to contribute to the success of a forward-thinking organization.

- Design and oversee the implementation of foundational architecture for software systems, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.

- Collaborate with senior leadership and development teams to select appropriate technology stacks, frameworks, and tools based on project requirements.

- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the software development life cycle.

- Build up the technical documentation base needed for Software Development.

- Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with software architecture.
