Ericsson in Lund is looking for new engineering talents who would like to develop and test base station Software for 4G and 5G.

We are looking for candidates, with an interest in an interest in shaping an efficient test environment for a multi core embedded system. Itis therefore likely that you are already involved in testing and have, or seek to have, a more forefront position.
This role reports to Line Manager in Baseband Development Group.
What we offer you
You will be the person supporting development with a broad understanding of testing. Your focus will be on advising teams and projects on the best way forward in terms of test and verification. There will be a multitude of test specialists, around the world, to cooperate with to build outstanding test scenarios. The work will revolve around the lower layers (L1 or L2) of our software stack. As a Test Manager you will have the benefit of working with a range of features giving you a wide understanding of the 5G technology.
You, as a successful candidate, will:
• be comfortable working across organizations and will find solutions in cooperation with teams and other talents
• keep an open mind to also work outside your own subject area to be able to broaden your competence to get a deeper understanding of our products
• seek new challenges to continuously improve, which will lead to more opportunities to learn, try out new roles and get even more responsibility
Education/ Qualifications
You have a Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Wireless Communication, Applied Physics or equivalent.
Furthermore, interest and experience in any of below areas is meriting
• Test e.g. by having worked with test scope assessments
• Software verification and test automation technologies
• LTE and NR baseband specifications (3GPP)
• Good understanding of the continuous integration concept
• Working with contineous test and deployment of telecom SW
• Embedded real-time software architecture principles, implementation and verification
• Lean & Agile methodologies
