Assignment Description:
We are looking for an experienced System Engineer for Battery Management System to join our team.
What you will work on:
Ensure fulfillment of BMS system requirements, ISO 26262, and EMC/EMI compliance.
Support the Traction battery section in electronics and electrical aspects.
Manage and verify supplier compliance with our requirements.
Own electronics attribute requirements (EMC and Electrical Performance) and low-level functional requirements of BMS.
Oversee compliance with Volvo Cars Standards and HW SOW with suppliers.
Monitor prototype vehicle builds and prototype manufacturing.
Conduct electronic design reviews.
Lead and deliver ISO 26262 Part 5 work products, including FTTI, FMEDA management, and review.
Assist in concept selection for key components like MCU, ASICs, etc.
Support RFI / RFQ phase with suppliers.
Perform reliability engineering tasks.
Develop H/W driver diagnostic requirements and ensure S/W implementation and validation with system architects and S/W teams.
Manage requirements in Elektra, system weaver, eIDB.
Collaborate with Base Tec SW engineers to ensure HW specifications meet requirements.

What you bring:
MSc in Electrical Engineering or similar field.
Knowledge and experience in ISO 26262, particularly part 5.
Previous experience in the mentioned activities.
