The electrification trend within the automotive business is moving rapidly. For P&L this means that we need to prepare for ramping up production of electrical vehicles and help Scania become more sustainable. One major component in an electrical vehicle is the battery. Therefore we have set up a small team that is running pre-studies and projects for in-house production of battery modules and battery packs.


For us within the Battery Production Unit it is important to fully understand the manufacturing processes and to support the development and purchasing processes, it is also essential to build up some pre-production capacity. Therefore we are now searching to expand our team. We are looking for flexible team players, that are dedicated to a sustainable future.

Logistics engineer
We are looking to expand our Logistic Engineering Team with a Logistics Engineer to contribute to the New Battery Production. you will set up a new internal logistics system with material flows for future battery production and be in contact with the Product Development team and the Production and industrial engineer as well. You will design the material flow for Goods reception / Storages and Line Feeding and then also understand both the logistic and production processes of battery modules and packs.

As member of MELT, you will be part of Team with a lot of diversity, background and involvment. You will be also a key project member in Battery Team.

Openness, helpfulness, flexibility, and interpersonal skills are valued high and close collaboration with O-organisation, R&D, battery customers and with the rest of our team is required.

Scania Technician, Bachelor or Master of Science degree and 1-5 years of experience from Process engineering or similar work experience and knowledge of Scania production’s processes including Design for Machining/Assembly and Scania Time Standard methods is essential as well as a good standard of spoken and written English.

Design for Logistics, LayCad, TFP, RAMP/SES, and knowledge about other common Process Engineer/Production Engineer is a merit.
