The electrification trend within the automotive business is moving rapidly. For P&L this means that we need to prepare for ramping up production of electrical vehicles and help Scania become more sustainable. One major component in an electrical vehicle is the battery. Therefore we have set up a small team that is running pre-studies and projects for in-house production of battery modules and battery packs.
For us within the Battery Production Unit it is important to fully understand the manufacturing processes and to support the development and purchasing processes, it is also essential to build up some pre-production capacity. Therefore we are now searching to expand our team. We are looking for flexible team players, that are dedicated to a sustainable future.
Future IT Landscape - SAP!
We aim at P and L to change our IT landscape, to move from MONA suite to SAP amongs other systems, in order to support the coming challenges. Battery Factory will the first production unit with an SAP installation concerning the internal Logistics flows, from Goods Reception to Line Feeding.
Logistics engineer - Local Launch Manager for SAP Project
We are looking to expand our Logistic Engineering Team with a Logistics Engineer to contribute to built the New Battery Production and support the SAP inplementation.
As Logistic engineer and launch manager for the SAP Project, you will lead the launch organization for the battery production and you will support the SAP implementation for Logistics. You will be in contact with the NOVA team (Future IT Landscape project team) and will suppport design the material flow for Goods reception / Storages and Line Feeding.
As launch manager, you will be responsible to lead the SAP launch organization for Battery Production:
- Preparing the SAP launch for ME
- Align with the Project manager the SAP roll out
- Develop the long term plan for ME
- Lead and manage the lauch organization
- Assign and support the tasks to the team members
Provide regular update to the upper management
It will be also an opportunity for you to understand and learn from production processes of battery Modules and Packs.
As member of MELT, you will be part of Team with a lot of diversity, with different backgrounds and huge involvment. You will be also a key project member in the Battery Team.
Openness, helpfulness, flexibility, and interpersonal skills are valued high and close collaboration with O-organisation, R&D, Battery customers,TE - Global industrial development and with the rest of our team is required.
Scania Technician, Bachelor or Master of Science degree and 2-5 years of experience from Process engineering or similar work experience and knowledge of Scania production’s processes i is essential as well as a good standard of spoken and written English.
Knowledge about MONA / SIMAS and previous project management experience is a merit.
