The electrification trend within the automotive business is moving rapidly. For P&L this means that we need to prepare for ramping up production of electrical vehicles and help Scania become more sustainable. One major component in an electrical vehicle is the battery.
Vacant position
We are looking for a product preparator to be part of our team and work with a big variation of tasks within mainly EBBA preparation, in very tight cooperation and collaboration with product development teams. In cooperation with our other team members it will be important to understand how product and process demands interact and how this needs to be addressed within Battery Production.
As a preparator mainly focusing on Ebba you create a digital environment for the production landscape and reporting functions. You have an important role in securing disruptive product introductions and enabling a functional flow of the production. You work closely with both production, logistic, engineering and our local IT supporting functions. Your main task will be to prepare recipes and equipment in the MES production environment EBBA, but also to use other systems connected to production such as ERP system MONA Assembly, deviation handling system FRAS, the product description tool OAS and the drawing archive 3D Experience.
The MES environment handles both product objects and process objects which means that you will work close cross-functionally with many functions such as production engineering, product coordination and R&D design groups.
Openness, helpfulness, flexibility, analytical and interpersonal skills are highly valued.
Scania Technician, Bachelor or Master of Science degree and 2-3 years of experience from MONA/EBBA-preparation or similar work experience is a base demand. Knowledge of Scania production’s preparation process and its tools/systems are essential as well as a good standard of spoken and written English.
You will achieve
a wide connection network within P&L as well as within several other functions at Scania. You will work with several other units as well as outside parties and be asked to present material for management teams on all levels of the company. Furthermore you will be part of a new team exploring a new field within Scania production and logistics.
