Are you a strategist who want to make real impact on the future mobility? Then the role as Battery Strategist within the team Vehicle Propulsion Strategy is the place for you to prosper.

We define Vehicle Propulsion’s long-term strategies and securing a competitive Propulsion offer for our future customers. The team consist of electric propulsion-, charging-, and sustainability strategists, and business and propulsion planners. We work in close co-operation with all departments within Vehicle Propulsion as well as with Product Planning defining our future product plan for Propulsion.

Your Contribution
You will define product strategies for the battery systems in our electric propulsion drivelines and plan future technical content with focus on business and customer needs. You will align technology and manufacturing capability with customer and business needs. 

You will manage and coordinate cross functional technology studies driving decisions on changes to our development and product plans. You will have a close co-operation with the Battery ARTs as well as the Solution Manager for electrification and Strategy & Business Office. 

You will also have the opportunity to manage technology exploration within the field of batteries and secure supporting activities in our Advanced Engineering portfolio.

Competence is Important
You have solid experience from battery development and a broad expertise in the field of propulsion technology. You have previously worked with product strategy within the automotive industry and have expert knowledge in product development. 

You will also need a track record of create/refine presentation materials.

Personality is Key
You are a visioner with a heart pounding for creating the best user experience for our customers. You are business oriented, always keeping a holistic view. 
You are a good communicator with great corporation skills, comfortable aligning strategies with different parts of our organization. You are self-motivated and structured. You enjoy being part of a team and have the ability to inspire others towards the goal.
