Battery System Engineering

Context:
To keep working on IKOS’ growth in Sweden, we are recruiting a Battery System Design Engineer with relevant experience in the field, keen to work on strategic projects in the railway sector.
Responsibilities:
Define the System Specifications for the Electrical Design
Gather requirements from customers and different stakeholders
Perform system analysis of present and future customer battery system applications
Design and evaluate electrical systems, protection components, sensors and EMC related to the operation of battery applications
Perform system analysis for safety and reliability, such as FMEA and high-level risk assessment
Define system level test requirements
Support integration of hardware and software functional implementation and evaluation



Qualifications:
Bachelor or Master’s Degree – mandatory
English at a fluent level is mandatory, Swedish is considered a plus
5+ years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience
Experience working with BMS (Battery Management Systems)
Experience in System Design and Integration, Verification & Validation
Experience in Requirements Engineering for ESS (Energy Storage Systems)
