As a Battery System Manager, you will be a part of our Rocvolt Team – a cross-functional team who is responsible for Epiroc Battery Systems and for accelerating the electrification business. Your mission
Your mission in this role is to have the technical responsibility of the battery platform and simultaneously act as a team leader of the team that is developing Epiroc’s battery system in close collaboration with our suppliers and partners. You will report to the R&D Manager, Rocvolt and be a part of a global network organization. Key responsibilities in this role are:
* Manage battery system development and maintenance projects with regards to approved scope, schedule and cost.
* Identify tactical ways to overcome obstacles while meeting deadlines despite setbacks and manage projects in a constantly changing environment of shifting priorities.
* Develop and maintain effective communication channels to all stakeholders, external (e.g. suppliers) and internal (e.g. production, sourcing).
* Cross-functionally communicate key development updates, risks and timeline on projects.
* Track resourcing of projects and drive resource balancing between different priorities.
Your profile
You have great interpersonal and communication skills that reflect your desire for collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders. You have at least five years of experience within a relevant area such as mechatronics or electrical design.
As the role is conducted with responsibility and flexibility, you should be pro-active, “hands-on”, structured, and comfortable managing and embedding significant change. You have strong managerial and communicative skills with experience in direct or indirect organizational leadership.
Since your work includes many local and global contacts, very good English skills (verbal and written) are required

Location and other
