What’s in it for you?  
Propulsion Electric Workshop is a group are part of the department Test objects operation within Vehicle engineering at P&Q. We perform all work on the powertrains in Volvo Cars product Program.  The group works in all phases of development from the FU phase up to after production start of the vehicles. We work in a agile way with our tasks so if you have practice this way of working before it is a benefit for you in the role.

What you’ll do 
As a main task you will assemble/disassemble, prepare before test and update different types of HW traction batteries, battery modules and battery cells.
You will handle preparations for test objects to be tested in vehicles and during the test phase, note that updating and repair of battery test objects may occur, and after testing, you will dismantle and analyze the test object together with our customers. In case of needs, work may occur within the other groups in the section and trips to support at external test facilities may occur.
Do you fit the profile?  
We think you have an education within the electrical or technical field or equal experiences. Experience from vehicle mechanical or electrical work alongside good electricity knowledge is an advantage as well as any experience from working with electrified vehicles or batteries.
You are skilled in English and Swedish both written and spoken alongside master computer programs well and have an open mind to learn new tools and programs in this area.
We believe that you hold a Swedish level B driver license and if you have a forklift license this is an advantage, since the work also includes some handling of goods.
