About the Job
We are a creative and highly educated team of 35 persons now looking to reinforce our capabilities to configure Beckhoff TwinCat3 .
Since 2013 we have developed advanced software for robot motion control. From the learnings of traditional robot weaknesses we have developed 2 novelty mechanical arms that we today control with Beckhoff TwinCat3.
We believe the already widely used Beckhoff Platform will give us an edge compared to brand specific programming languages which are praxis among the big robot suppliers.
Our robots are focusing on industrial machining and logistics materialhandling where our robots brings additional values.
Cognibotics has superadvanced modules for the robot motion but rely on TwinCat infrastructure to communicate and deliver safety functions.
Traditional robot users expect a robust and fairly open and configuarable software and HMI.
To achieve this we need a good internal TwinCat3 architechture for the robot controller but also the right prepared interface s for chosen applications.Have look at the materialhandling customer values in this video;

Responsibilities
• Lead or contribute to the TwinCat architechture to become a robot controller
• Suggest the right TwinCat modules and tie together a robust robot control system.
• Participate and improve communication between Cognibotics motion modules and TwinCat.
• Set up test plans and verify your work on a digital twin but also in our labs on the real robots.
• Understand the customer application needs and suggest how to solve these in Beckhoff
• Lead or participate in developing the customer application hard and software in Beckhoff.
Kvalifications and personality
• Several years of Beckhoff TwinCat3 programming and hardware component experience.
• Experience in programming and using industrial or collaborative robots
• Strongly meritorious is knowledge in Julia, Java, Python or PLC.
• Possibility to work in Cognibotics premises in Lund and from time to time support our sales office in US.
