Wesmans survey team provide a range of surveys and consultancy services to marine and cargo insurers, Logistics providers, Shipping companies, Manufacturing industry, Oil and gas industry, Ports and terminals and Authorities.


We are looking for a dedicated Surveyor to our team in Gothenburg, Sweden. 


Job vacancy – Marine & Cargo Surveyor, Gothenburg


Wesmans’ Survey Team provides marine-, cargo- & transport liability surveys for their clients within the logistics-, transport- and marine- & cargo insurance industry.


Our business is growing, and we are now looking for an additional member to our skilled Survey Team to be based in Gothenburg.


You are a person driven by curiosity and ambition to learn more about the exciting marine and transport insurance sector. Required skills and capabilities:


- Experience from the logistics industry / Marine- & Transport insurance industry 
- Keen and motivated to learn more and develop within the roll, Wesmans organization and Marine Insurance industry 
- Accurate, efficient and service minded 
- Structured and efficient as a person and with good communication skills 
- Clear communication and language skills in both Swedish/Scandinavian and English, orally and in writing 
- Extensive travel activities and willing to travel on short notice. 
- Valid Driving license 
- Proactive and self-driven

Key responsibilities:


- Attend Cargo- , Transport Liability- and Marine Surveys, liaise with principals and reporting 
- Safeguard the interests of our principals 
- Be a team player working closely with all departments and cross countries within Wesmans

Start: As soon as possible/after agreement


Working hours: Full time, flexible working hours, on-call operations occur
