As a model developer at Embedded Tools and Test Environment, you are involved in developing an exciting and increasingly global product. You belong to a group that is constantly working towards an increasingly virtualized environment.
Today our group of fifteen colleagues develop existing and new SW test tools, various HIL and SIL models as well as test development environments. Assignment
As a model developer, you work on developing and integrating models for a ECU systems focusing on one or more function areas such as transmission control, after-treatment and engine systems. You will be part of the model team within our group that provides the organization with a complete test environment for both ICE and BEV. You use modern development techniques in various test environments such as SIL, HIL (Software, Hardware-In-the-Loop) to ensure that we have the best product on the market. An important part of the job is that you explore new methods and ideas as we constantly search for better ways to develop and verify future products. Your personal development opportunities in our organization are large and wide. Depending on your interest, there is scope to become an expert in the field of SW or test development, take responsibility for competence groups or project management among many other things. The job is varied and requires good cooperation in the entire development chain. The contact networks you build will give you good opportunities throughout the company.
Your profile
You are a curious and driven engineer with experience in programming and software development. You have experience with MATLAB and Simulink. We would like you to have an interest in Python, embedded systems, tests, driveline development or vehicles. You are fluent in English. Swedish language skills are advantageous. In order to thrive within Scania you should have a technically critical mindset, embrace challenges and understand the importance of cooperation. You have the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with unknown issues with a desire to find solutions together with your colleagues. Continuous improvement is part of our daily work.
