In this very moment, we’re facing a technology shift and are stepping into the new electrification era. At Sandvik, we’ve initiated a brand-new concept where some of our machines in our customers mines will be driven by electricity.
We’re now looking for a self-driven engineer to be part of this evolutionary step towards an even more sustainable way of working within electrification and automation. Are you our new Sales and Product Support Engineer?
What´s the job all about?
Well, it´s to create an overall view of the management and coordination of our project with Battery Electric Vehicle. You also take the lead on our BEV-project implementations. You liaise with our sales teams to prepare, conduct and assist in product promotion, presentation and demonstration from a technical perspective. You engage with key industry stakeholders to support field sales to technically market existing products and customers. To further develop our BEV business, you work in close collaboration with business line managers and key account managers and you coordinate and liaise between internal stakeholders.
Your responsibility include:
Oversee trial management and coordination of trial
Coordinate maintenance and technical product support
Execute short term load and haul BEV strategy for territory Sweden
Creating KPIs and follow up
First point of contact for our customers
Provide with technical training and guidance to sales
You’re based in Stockholm, Järfälla and frequent travel to our mines is a natural part of your job.
What you know and need – this is important
Solid experience from driving projects; ideally from the mining industry or similar
An engineering degree or the equivalent knowledge gained from work
An exceptional user of Office 365
A driver’s license, your work is quite remote
Excellent English skills while knowledge in Swedish is a plus
