BEV Technicians

In this very moment, we’re facing a technology shift and are stepping into the new electrification era. At Sandvik, we’ve initiated a brand-new concept where some of our machines in our customers’ mines will be driven by electricity.
We’re now looking for several technicians to be part of this evolutionary step towards an even more sustainable way of working within electrification and automation. We make the shift – advancing the world through engineering. Are you ready to write history with us?
What’s the job all about?
In this position, you troubleshoot, repair and maintain mechanical and electrical aspects of equipment and components according to defined specifications at a contracted work site. Safety is always your number one priority, and naturally you follow safety policies, applicable government, regulations and requirements at all times. You build strong relationships with the contracts team as well as with internal and external customers to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction!
Your responsibility includes:


Ensure that the equipment runs smoothly and resolve faults and malfunctions.
Performing tests on repaired equipment to ensure accurate operational performance.
Complete precise time records, technical reports, failure reports and parts lists.
Actively participation in continuous improvement initiatives.
Identify and report any unsafe work habits, workplace incidents or near misses.

The location for this position is flexible within Sweden and frequent travel to our customers mines is a natural part of your job.
What you know and need – this is important
Some kind of technical education
Knowledge within electricity
Excellent skills in English and Swedish, both verbally and in writing
A big plus is if you have an electrical certification within high voltage
Another plus is knowledge in hydraulics and experience from a heavy industry
