We are currently building out our Data Analytics and Business Intelligence capabilities at Joint Academy, and as the whole company is growing we are looking for a talented BI Analyst to join our efforts in fostering a Data-driven culture at the company. We are taking our BI solution to the next level to ensure that we are able to continue scaling, while still maintaining an excellent quality of service for our patients.
About the Role
As a BI analyst, you will be working in a cross-functional Operations team, collaborating closely with people who are experts in other fields such as product management and software engineering. You will analyse how the business is performing by looking at a wide variety of data from our data warehouses; including metrics from the product database and financial data.
The visualizations and dashboards that you build, and the reports that you construct will have an impact on the future direction of the company, and will ensure that we are able to continue scaling as a business while maintaining a good quality of service for our patients.
When performing the data analysis, you will primarily be using our BI tool of choice - Tableau, to create actionable reports. But you will also assist in the development of the underlying data model, working with data engineers to ensure that the data infrastructure delivers exact, up-to-date and accurate data for the advanced reporting, and analytics solutions required by the team.
Requirements
You are passionate about data analysis, and enjoy digging deep into the data to look for interesting patterns and insights
You have experience working in a team, responding to the requests of stakeholders in an organized and independent manner
You are able to clearly communicate your findings visually by building graphs, dashboards, and reports
You have experience using a business intelligence tool such as Tableau, Qlick, or PowerBI, but specifically it is a major plus if you are already an expert in Tableau
You have experience in analytics, such as predictive analytics, regression analysis, hypothesis testing
You have experience working with financial data
It is a plus if you know SQL and are comfortable with working with data from a variety of different sources
You have some experience with data warehousing and/or ETL processes
You hold a university degree and have relevant work experience for at least 3 years
You hold a permanent Swedish work permit and it’s an advantage if you are based in the Malmö/Skåne region
