BI Developer

About the role
Preferably based at our site in Karlshamn, Sweden, you will join our Business Intelligence (BI) team, reporting to Business Intelligence & Project Manager, Rodrigo Huerta, you will play a key role in the creation of global BI solutions which enable our colleagues to make faster and better decisions, contributing in that way to our company’s objectives, goals and strategies.
You will be working closely with business users and IT members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis, modelling and development of sustainable solutions, which are aligned with our strategies and are according to our corporate standards.
Therefore, we are looking for a candidate which has experience in the data warehouse and business intelligence area, with strong knowledge in data provisioning, modelling, security, authorization and integration between different systems and technologies such as SAP ECC, SAP HANA, MS SQL and Tableau/BW.
Responsibilities:
Develop reliable and high performing data sources
Create front-end solutions, which enable AAK’s organization to make faster and better decisions
Support and monitor our information systems
Suggest continuous improvements to our platforms and technologies.
About you
To succeed in this role, you have a university degree on Master’s level, probably in computer engineering or business administration, but more importantly you have several years of experience from SAP or other ERP systems. You also have knowledge from SQL, MS SQL, SAP HANA and Tableau/BW. Building on your professional background, you are capable to bridge business and technical language. If you have experience from supply chain processes that would be a plus.
You are an independent and outgoing team player with a good eye for details and a structured way of working. You are characterized by being proactive, customer-oriented, responsible, well-organized and enthusiastic, and you have a strong personal integrity and a high willingness and ability to share knowledge and experience.
As you will be working globally, you must have an international mindset, supported by a high level of proficiency in spoken and written English.
