ABOUT THE ROLE

As a BI Developer in the Insights team you are specialized in business intelligence and Tableau development. You will create best in class dashboards for standardized reporting and analytics with focus on dashboard design to achieve a great user experience. You will also act as an experienced partner to your peers in the Tableau community across the company, sharing your expertise and challenging them to further enhance data driven capabilities. The team is responsible for server operations and maintenance as well as the user community. The community is supported through activities such as user forums and trainings. There is also a data governance focus in the team, supporting the organization with governance structures and expertise.

You will be part of a cross functional delivery team consisting of data engineers, data scientists, BI developers, and product owner, with whom you collaborate closely to deliver end to end solutions towards a business area. We work in accordance with the agile manifesto, and we make sure that we break down our requirements into minimal viable products and thereby deliver value fast and often to our requestors and stakeholders.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

The person we are looking for is passionate about data and its applications for better decision making. You enjoy teamwork and to enable others by sharing your expertise in different forums. You have an analytical mindset and are able to combine your understanding of business and technology to deliver insights efficiently. In order to succeed in this role, a can-do attitude is crucial and you would be expected to take on relevant initiatives that supports the success of our team and Tele2s data driven strategy. Since you will work close with several parts of the business you are a skilled communicator and have a transparent and iterative way of working.

We believe you have:

A few years experience of working with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server as a developer, business analyst, super user, or management consultant

Proficiency in SQL and experience creating advanced data sets

A University degree within relevant field or equivalent work experience

Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken

Meriting experience:

Embedded analytics

Managing Tableau Server cluster in Linux environment

Snowflake, Redshift, dbt, Airflow, Git, Jira, Confluence, AWS S3, Kafka

Data warehouse development and information modelling

System integrations

Scrum Master or other agile training/certification

Governance experience
