We are faced with the incredibly exciting task of building a completely new BI solution that will replace our existing data warehouse. Through our data warehouse, visualizations and integrated dashboards, we deliver interactive reports and analyzes that help our customers run their business more efficiently. As a BI developer, you will work in a team consisting of architects, data engineers, product owners and several other BI developers. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills together with a highly competent BI team. It is a team with great team spirit that strives for collaboration and knowledge sharing. We are currently reviewing our application flora and, as mentioned, will modernize our BI solutions to adapt to a changing environment where data is increasingly requested by both our colleagues in other teams at PwC, and in some cases external clients.
Tasks:
You will, among other things, translate the needs of the business into full-scale solutions, work with different types of tools and platforms and thus enable PwC to make more data-driven decisions.
You will also:
Build integrations against surrounding systems and models, transform and connect data to enable analysis and data insights.
Build back-end solutions, we expect you to also be interested in the front-end.
Develop new solutions and manage existing ones.
Work closely and interact with business stakeholders.
Have a focus on continuous improvements, both technical and working methods.
Be involved in all parts of the development life cycle, from requirements gathering and analysis to development and production launch.
We are looking for:
Business Intelligence developers who have the ability to translate business needs and requirements into BI Solutions from the ground up using the Microsoft stack. Ability to work with and create queries in SQL is a must.
Technical platforms we work with are:
Microsoft BI Stack (SQL Server, Power BI, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS)
C#
Azure (Data factory, Functions, DevOps, etc.)
… and tools like Visual Studio, Redgate
Requirements for the position:
Relevant education with a degree in systems science or comparable skills.
Experience with some or all of the technologies we use .
A genuine interest in data, data models, data warehouses and data insights.
Proficiency in English is needed to succeed in this role and Swedish language skills are considered as an advantage.
If you have experience working with Azure, Data Engineering/ Science, Data Management and/or Advanced analytics are also meritorious.
As a person, you are driven, curious and goal-oriented. You like to work customer-oriented in an advisory role with our business to think through and create solutions to complex problems at a fast pace. You are good at communicating with both the business and IT and are clear in your communication.
