Our team is on an exciting journey to develop world-class analytics for our organization. Aligned with our overarching global data and analytics strategy, we have established a data and analytics hub within the People Experience (HR) domain. The hub assumes responsibility for the development of data products and analytical capacities tailored to requirements from across the business with a focus on people.
What We Offer
As a BI developer at Volvo Cars you will be collaborating with the product team for People Analytics, consisting of analysts, engineers and other developers. As well as working closely with other HR business roles such as Solution Owners (HR process owners), HR Business Partners and other management people as needed at Volvo Cars.
What You’ll bring
You are a person with a proven history of experience from the People Analytics domain, who has established high performing analytics capabilities in fast-moving environments. You are passionate about creating a data informed organization and work in an organized, methodical and professional way that benefits the team’s working climate and ability to deliver high quality solutions.
We believe that most of the following characteristics describes you:
Consultative approach – You are communicative and can be involved in discussions with the team and stakeholders. Also, you are pro-active and not waiting for tasks but is contributing to the discussion to help us to move the needle further
You are predominately a Power BI developer, with strong DAX skills and exposure to some backend topics like Azure Data Factory, SQL, SnowFlake or similar backend technologies
You’re keeping yourself updated around the features that Microsoft is launching connected to Power BI and bring that to the table during discussions & explore how we could leverage those functionalities
Experience and exposure to statistics (mean, median, mode, standard deviation, variance, forecasting techniques etc)
Domain experience in Human Resources and People Analytics would be great
Has worked in an Agile setup
This position is based at Volvo Cars’ international HQ in Gothenburg.
