BI Developer - Umeå

Assignment Description:
We are looking for a BI Developer who is experienced in working with Tableau, Snowflake, Redshift and Airflow.

What you'll do:
● Continuously identify opportunities to improve lead times and increase efficiency for development, testing and deployment of data pipelines, for example through automation.
● Contribute to development of design standards and best practices, including our shared repository of reusable data pipeline components and templates.
● Effectively manage multiple stringent project timelines in fast paced business environment.
● Continuously strive to improve current tools and methodologies to improve the analysis of information.
● Define and maintain internal processes and quality standards documentation to ensure process controls and audits are up to date and aligned to the company’s standards.
Who you are:
● Several years of experience with Tableau or equivalent skill/experience with Tableau.
● Have proven experience in Data warehouse, data lake and lake house and Hands-on experience in back-end software development with Scala, Python.
● Good knowledge of arete with patient data or other sensitive data where there has been a requirement to relate to security and legal space around this.
● Excellent communication, teamwork skills, inter-personal and Organizational skills.
● Experience in developing ETL pipelines in GCP using Big Query, Data flow and Data proc is an added advantage.
