What you will be a part of
Support and Services, a business area of Saab, supplies a wide range of services and integrated support solutions to customers in defence and on commercial markets for cost-efficient support of systems and platforms throughout their life cycle.
Tactical Solutions offers solutions and a wide range of technical services for a tactical and battlefield level across all domains in both defence and selected civil market. 
You will be a member of Staff Marketing and Sales within the Tactical Solutions business unit. Staff Marketing and Sales is responsible for Win Business compliance and delivers Bid Management to the Marketing and Sales function as well as to the business unit operational departments.



Your role
As Bid Manager you will work with the production of bids in accordance with the Saab internal Management System and the Saab “Winning Business” process.In broad terms this means taking responsibility for:

Leading and following-up bid production work
Risk and opportunity analyses, including analyses of competitors
Compilation of the bid package, including cost/pricing and compliance to customer requirements.
Meeting short response times with fixed customer due dates for proposals 

Your will mainly work with bids for the business unit Tactical Solutions and you will be the business unit’s Point of Contact regarding the Saab Customer Relation Management database. You will work closely with the various Sales Responsible and other appointed team members and line resources, and assure the overall bid quality.

Your skills and experience
Previous experience as Bid Manager, cost/pricing responsible, project manager or other such position is advantageous. However, regardless of your formal training and previous work experience, we are looking for someone who has:

Knowledge and/or interest in cost calculations and commercial pricing
Good administrative skills including the Microsoft Office Package and it is a merit if you have worked with a Customer Relation Management database earlier
Excellent and clear communication skills in both Swedish and English
An interest in increasing bid work efficiency and the total bid win rate.
