Bid Manager till Quintus, Customer Service and Support i Västerås

In the role as CSS Bid Manager, you are responsible for compiling the costs and scopes of delivery for all aftermarket offers. For smaller opportunities, such as small upgrades and major services, you will manage all of the quote documentation as well. You will also participate in meetings with the regional Sales team and regional Commercial Managers on new business opportunities.
The CSS Bid Manager works in close collaboration with Sales, Key Account Management, Field Service and Engineering as business opportunities dictate. You will gather information from these departments and some external resources such as subcontractors for quote opportunities. You will have responsibility for the speed and accuracy of quotes. To succeed in this role, you need to have a holistic perspective without losing focus on the details. This position requires structure, creativity, research, and pattern recognition, and will be very stimulating for the right candidate.
You report to the manager for CSS Operations. Traveling to customers will be required occasionally. Your home location will be the headquarters in Västerås, SE.
Responsibilities
Adherence to policies, procedures and best practices.
Responsible for gathering all cost figures, scope of supply, split of supply, and necessary assumptions/disclaimers for bids regarding aftermarket products, which may include major services, upgrades, capital spare parts, Quintus Care, and press relocations.
Works closely with Product Management, Field Service, and Spares departments to gather cost and scope information for bids.
Participate in meetings with Sales teams on new business opportunities and bid requirements.
Responsible to provide input to Sales on feasibility, delivery times for quotes, and perceived risks.
Develops standard templates and procedures for common bid requests.
Builds historical reference file to speed up quotations and to facilitate continuous improvement in quote accuracy.
Work closely with CSS Product Manager to complete pricing analysis for CSS offerings including: overhauls, services, and spare parts.
Your profile
You have a relevant degree in engineering, supply chain, or other technical field. You have 3+ years of experience from bid management, inside sales, or purchasing in an industrial equipment manufacturer. You have solid experience in interactions with customers and suppliers. It is an advantage if you have worked with process development in a technology-driven organization. You are skilled in MS Office and fluent in English, both written and oral.
On a personal level, you are a flexible and result-oriented team player with excellent communication skills. You are structured, solution-oriented, and have a technical interest. You have a positive mindset and create results through teamwork and collaboration.
