HVDC business unit is seeking a Bid and ReqMan administrator for the tender submission work. In this role you will be part of HVDC, a business unit within Hitachi ABB Power Grids. The unit develops, manufactures and sells DC transmission systems on a global market. This developed HVDC technology is used to transmit electricity over long distances and for power transmission via submarine cables. HVDC is also used to connect power systems.
As Bid administrator, your main mission will be to support the HVDC organization with the tender set up in the documentation management system (DMS), documentation handling and tender submissions. As ReqMan administrator you will be responsible for the customer requirement management in the ReqMan tool.
You will play a key role in strengthening our team that are supporting the organization, both locally and globally. You will be reporting to the Global Head of documentation management and you will be part of a great team, responsible for applying strong application knowledge and expertise to support global business needs and help solve challenging topics.
Your responsibilities
Perform the tender set-up in the DMS
Prepare the tender document list together with tender responsible and/or Lead engineer
Set-up and maintain accesses in the DMS
Structure and maintain customer specifications in DMS
Daily DMS support for tender team
Extract customer specifications to single requirements in the ReqMan system
Administration of the ReqMan tool for sharing, evaluating and comparing the requirements to secure the quality during the tendering phase
Compile bid in accordance with ITT structure
Perform OTD measurements of tender document
Channel all translation to be made for the tender
Participate on site when finalizing tender locally. Note; applicable when travelling together with tender responsible
Your background
You have a University degree in computer engineering or similar
Work experience from a similar area
As person you are structured with the ability to manage multiple demands on time
A collaborative, solutions and customer service-oriented approach and strong communication skills
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office
It is an advantage if you have experience from working with DMS and ReqMan tool
Occasionally the work will be performed on uncomfortable working hours and it is an advantage to be stress resistant
Fluency in both English and Swedish is required
