CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Bid & Solutions Manager located in either Copenhagen, Stockholm, Helsinki or Oslo to support our business in the Nordics. Our new Bid & Solutions Manager will work as part of the Nordic Division Business Development team to achieve the Company’s objectives for business growth.
In this role, you will be responsible for project management of the Pre-qualifications (PQQ) and tender process whilst producing innovative documents that are delivered on time and to the highest possible standard. The role includes providing support to Business Development Managers (BDM’s) and the Divisional Sales Director to assist developing new business opportunities.
This role will report to the Nordic Divisional Sales Director (DSD) and will indirectly line manage the Sales & Business Unit Coordinators (BUC). The Nordic Sales organization also includes Business Development Managers in the Nordic countries; Denmark, Norway, Sweden & Finland.
Key accountabilities:
Deal promptly and professionally with all pre-qualifications, distribute documents between BUCs and Bid Manager/Writers as necessary and keep DSD and BDMs fully updated on progress
Project manage the development of the costing and commercial aspects of the proposal, in collaboration with the SME team, through to sign off and handover to the operations team
Develop and articulate pricing and risk assumptions to the business/bid team
Identify, review, evaluate and understand the requirements of identified business opportunities and work to create successful strategies for response
Ensure complete project management of tenders from initiation to submission
Manage the contributions of others supporting the bid to ensure timely delivery of best quality responses
Develop and deliver exceptional tender documents and presentations in line with Company standards, using the specialist support functions (procurement, HR, QHSE etc.) as well as local managers and the DSD.
Further tasks include various internal and external marketing activities, event organisation and marketing presence at industry exhibitions, events and conferences, communications, training, mentoring and supporting the Sales & Business Unit Co-ordinators.

The role as Bid & Solutions Manager is characterized by its structured placement in the matrix organization. As a Bid & Solutions Manager, your closest colleagues and stakeholders are spread across all Nordic countries. Collaboration is primarily done via digital communication platforms and other remote options. The organization is in this way characterized by being individual in the completion of tasks.
Furthermore, this also means that stakeholders, both in terms of managers and employees in subsequent reporting lines, are changing from project to project. This entails a need for employees to be able to adapt and work in different ways.
To succeed in this position, you have:
The ability to communicate effectively with staff, customers and suppliers at all levels
Excellent IT skills e.g. reporting \ database management
Experience of meeting tight deadlines
Experience of preparing detailed written documents and reports to a high standard
Experience of dealing with and co-operating with a wide range of people
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and in as many of the Nordic languages as possible
An eye for details, and be conscious and methodical in approach
Enjoy a fast-paced sales environment
Strong in Excel and PowerPoint is a great advantage

The role is a full time position. The role will require regular travel.
