Big Data Security SRE

We are looking for a Big Data Security SRE for our client in the Banking Industry.

Detailed description of work task to be carried out:

On the non-linux layer, our client need support from a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) type security linux expert (ext. consultant). to go through all their active prioritized by overdue high and critical CVEs to support the investigation and discovery of best approach to remove what software is not needed and to prepare action plans to mitigate existing found vuln. Working directly with the Big Data Operations teams and referring any solution proposals directly to the Big Data Service Provider and subsequently the Big Data Platform owner.

Description of knowledge and experience

- Automation on Linux systems and big data distributed platform (e.g.) Cloudera Data Platform.

- Tools: Ansible, Python, BASH.

- Beneficial to have experience and knowledge about Apache Ranger security integration with AD/LDAP.

- Beneficial to have knowledge about migrating from Apache Sentry to Apache Ranger.

- Security Expert.

- Preferably ICsquared certified.

- Tools: (CVE, CVSS, java, opensource, cloudera stack, linux packages, apache, oracle, Log4j, classes)

- Full stack knowledge on distributed systems on Linux level.

- Experience with corporate institutions and banking incl. corp change processes etc.

- Working agile in Eng team and hands-on with Operations.

Location: Taastrup, Denmark (some remote work is possible, but it is expected to be mostly onsite in the beginning)
