Arbetsbeskrivning
We are looking for dedicated and fully educated preschool teachers and preschool teacher assistants, whose primary language is English, for our bilingual preschool in Vårby/Huddinge. We’re looking for driven and hardworking people highly motivated for the work required to make an impact while growing and developing with us.
We are inspired by the thoughts of Loris Malaguzzi and the Reggio Emilia-profile, and our focus is to consciously create space for using, developing and further challenging the children’s hundred and again hundred ways of expressing themselves. We’re working with different projects based on the children’s previous experiences, current interests, needs and thoughts combined with the goals and guidelines of the curriculum. We use pedagogical documentation as a way to observe, analyze and reflect on the on-going learning processes and exploration within the group – a work method used with the children, with our colleagues and individually. This leads to the education being continually re-created in order to challenge the children further.
You need to be well acquainted with the preschool curriculum and guidelines as well as The UN Convention Of The Rights Of The Child, well organized and have a solution-focused mindset. You will be an active and forward-thinking part of our pedagogical development, with the goal to always offer the best possible education for our children. You and your colleagues will plan, document and evaluate the work continually.
The many thoughts and ideas coming from our children must be your top priority, and you’ll be a co-researcher in their processes. Their creativity and imagination, combined with yours, will create the best possible conditions for further research together. The competent child must be seen in both action and thought, and a professional approach must be a guiding light in all relationships.
We stay up to date and base our work on relevant research, continuing education and collegiate meetings and reflections to constantly broaden our perspectives on development, learning and care. Our work environment is based on openness, respect and responsibility, and is free from discrimination.
