BIM Coordinator/ 3D Model Coordinator for our client in Västerås

In this position you will help the client to build a world class R&D Campus. Within your responsibilities you will oversee the coordination of the overall factory design, contributing on civil engineering layout, as well as areas of process, piping, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation. Among your tasks you will do the following:

• Handling quality checks of metadata and models
• Coordinating interfaces between numerous vendors, as well as the data modelling and management process
• Responsible of both identifying and documenting clashes with clash detection software
• Aligning design input from equipment vendors and building infrastructure
• Driving BIM coordination meetings, including the spatial coordination of disciplines, gathering all disciplines BIM models, and performing coordination tasks
• Creating prosperous quality control procedures to assure that the models and datasets are accurate and that the level of information is fit for the purposes
• Examine, audit and present 3D Models from contractors and consultants

Requirements

You should fulfill the following requirements to be relevant for the position:

• You have a few or more years of experience in the field as BIM Coordinator and you have been part of large, innovative, and challenging design projects with high demands on technical understanding
• As a person you are creative and detail-oriented, curious, and eager to learn
• You are also independent, you have a grit attitude, as well you have a natural talent to make things happen
• You are fluent in English, both written and spoken
• You are used to the standard MS Office and management software tools and platforms
• You have both a can do-attitude and an entrepreneurial spirit
