We are building a state-of-the-art Gigafactory that will be one of the largest cell production facilities in Europe. We are now looking for a BIM Coordinator to join our Facility & EPC team!

What you will do

You will be a part of a team of Building Information Management (BIM) specialists responsible for managing the modeling requirements from multiple consultants. You will manage Database systems, all modeling coordination, including storage, updates, federating and clash detections, and be the one responsible to keep the management team up-to-date.

Your responsibilities will include:

Participate in the BIM team that you will be part of defining NOVO’s internal model requirements

Develop and educate in the BIM Execution plan

Setting up the structures and workflows in our internal Document Controls System to maintain updated models

Manage database systems for Functional and Location based assetmanagement

-
Setup federated models and coordinate clashing reviews across disciplines

-
Provide proper BIM support during planning and constructability reviews

-
Provide proper BIM support to our engineering team to rapidly solve RFI’s

-
Include and manage BIM updates and communications in alignment with our internal Change Management process

Attend relevant design meetings


Skills & Requirements


-
A university degree, preferably in Engineering

-
5+ years in Building Information Management positions for major projects

-
Solid technical skill with BIM tools like Revit, Tekla, Navisworks or Open BIM software. Other modeling system experience considered a plus.

Proven experiance in BIM Database systems like dRofus, SQL, PowerBi

-
Proven experiance within coding API integrations (Jason, C#)

-
Proven experience running clash coordination

-
Proven experience in federated model coordination

-
Knowledge in document/collaboration platforms such as Aconex and Autodesk Construction Cloud

Great analytical skills

Experience in a multicultural enviroment

Our Gigafactory in Gothenburg will be one of the largest cell production facilities in Europe, with a potential annual cell production capacity of up to 50 gigawatt hours (GWh) - thereby enabling a supply of batteries for approximately half a million Volvo and Polestar cars per year. Our state-of-the-art R&D facility will gather leading expertise from all over the world, to create the next generation battery cells.
