The Biomaterials division offers a wide variety of pulp grades to meet the demands of paper, board, tissue, textile and hygiene product producers. We maximise the business potential of the side streams of our processes, such as tall oil and turpentine from biomass. Based on our strong innovation approach, all fractions of biomass, like lignin and sugars, hold potential for use in various applications.
We are now looking for a Biochemicals Sales Assistant.
Tasks
This is a junior/grow position to support the biochemicals business and take care of the following tasks:
· Collecting relevant price data and formulating it into different indexes
· Supporting mill audits for nine kraft pulp mills for ISCC and other biofuel certification systems
· Following up on development possibilities/opportunities for biochemicals
· Supporting the mills in optimising yield and technology development
· Supporting sales responsible in quality and follow up of the different products
· Admin support for contracting, process implementation, process homogenisation, legal and safety requirements, etc.
Requirements
To thrive in this role, you have a bachelor’s degree in a related field, combined with experience in the pulp and paper industry. Proficient English, both written and spoken, is required. The ability to work in Finnish and/or Swedish is preferred. You also have a good knowledge of basic office tools and working experience with SAP.
As a person, you have good interpersonal skills and are able to manage your work-life balance. You demonstrate a genuine drive and a “can do” attitude with good planning and organizational skills. You have experience of and enjoy working in a matrix organization with the capability to perform with changing environments and assignments.
You are a self-motivated and thorough person who has the ability to structure and plan your work well. You enjoy collaborating with others as well as being able to take the initiative and drive your work and results. You like variety at work and are flexible. Through your analytical ability and accuracy, you can see connections and interpret results.

Location: Helsinki, Stockholm or any of Stora Enso’s Nordic Kraft pulp mills.
