BioLamina is looking for motivated and experienced BioProcess Engineers to become valid team members and supporting our production. At BioLamina we produce human recombinant laminins that are sold as a culturing platform for different types of primary cells. As our Process Engineers, you will play a crucial role by actively contributing to process validation and improvement, which will enable us to manufacture high-quality recombinant proteins.
Main tasks and responsibilities
The BioProcess Engineer is responsible for the manufacturing of high-quality recombinant proteins according to defined processes. This role involves adhering to written procedures to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) and relevant laws and regulations. The Process Engineer will participate in a variety of production duties and actively support efforts for validation and continuous process improvement while working both independently and cooperatively within the team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, or Biochemistry.
A minimum of 3 years work experience as a BioProcess Engineer in the chemical, biotech, or pharmaceutical industry.
Strong experience in either upstream and/or downstream processing.
Experience in cell culturing and bioreactor operation.
Proficiency in identifying, performing, and coordinating deviation handling. Corrective and Preventive Actions (CC, CAPA) activities.
Skillful in updating, writing, and improving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Batch Production Records (BPRs).
Experience in participating, planning, performing, and reporting validation and qualification studies.
Proven ability to identify, plan, perform, and report process optimization activities.
Proficiency in Word and Excel.
Effective communication skills in English, written and verbal.

Merit if you have:
Experience in biotechnological production of recombinant proteins, aseptic working techniques, and cleanroom practices.
Handling experiences of large-scale production process.
Experience in chromatographic purification.
Working according to GMP.
Swedish language.
