TFS Trial Form Support (TFS) is a FDA- and MPA inspected full service clinical CRO, operating in three independent business areas: Early Clinical Development, Project Delivery and Contract Placement Solutions.Founded in 1996 in Lund, Sweden, TFS has become the largest non-listed European CRO employing 480 highly competent and dedicated clinical research professionals working from offices across 16 countries in Europe, USA, Japan and India.The projected revenue for 2009 is 38 million EUR.We are now looking for another Biostatistician who, like ourselves, appreciates a flexible working environment filled with interesting assignments and who enjoys working with highly competent colleagues in a small dynamic group.You will be a member of the Study Team which is responsible for the planning, performance, report and documentation of statistical tasks according to company policies, SOPs and regulatory requirements. TFS Trial Form Support Global Biometrics is a global organisation with staff in both the Nordic region as well as in Central and South Europe and the work will involve cooperation with colleagues at our other offices.It is a temporary position until May 2011 due to maternity-leave with the intention of becoming a permanent position.It is full-time and you will be located at our Nordic HQ in Lund, Sweden. The main responsibilities of the Biostatistician will include: ?Providing input to all sections of a study protocol (i.e.study design, sample size calculations) ?Writing statistical analysis plans ?Define appropriate methods for statistical analysis ?Writing statistical reports, and contributing to clinical and integrated reports ?Contact with clients in questions regarding statistical issues in projects ?Reviewing and contributing to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) within statistics ?Contributing to other SOPs ?SAS programming for the analysis of a clinical study (including summary statistics and statistical testing) Requirements/Qualifications: ?Academic degree in mathematical statistics or statistics on at least B.Sc.level ?Skills in statistical programming, preferably SAS ?Skills in written and spoken English ?Good communication and management skills Preferred requirements: ?Two years experience of clinical studies as a statistician ?Knowledge of external guidelines within the area ?Good understanding of the total concept of clinical studies TFS Trial Form Support will offer: A dynamic and growth oriented organization with a work environment distinguished by professionalism, integrity and responsibility.Welcome to join us and to contribute in placing TFS Trial Form Support among the top 10 worldwide CROs.
